"'And what is the use of a book,' thought Alice, 'without pictures or conversation?'"

With a blank piece of paper, a wild imagination, and a few colored pencils, I took pencil-to-paper {sometimes brush} and learned how to create my own version of what was {or wasn’t} around me. Then one day, out of curiosity, I borrowed a friend’s camera. This introduced me to an entirely new world; a world through a lens where perspective and imagination are limitless.

Elliott Erwitt said it best -

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place…I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them."

I choose to take the time to stop and smell the roses; to absorb the sights, textures, sounds, aromas, and sensations of all of the elements surrounding me. Learning and listening intently allows me to capture these unique elements. My goal is to catch you in your most natural self. Candid and effortless. When you look back at your photographs you should feel the same spirit, sensation, and joy the moment brought you the very instant the photo was taken.
